Just Arrived!  Pre-Owned OO-75!  Awesome Boutique Guitar!

The Northwood OO is a fantastic guitar.  If you have read through my site you will know that the Northwood OO is my personal favorite guitar.  It is very compact, comfortable, and supremely responsive.  It sounds much larger than it is.  It features a superb, blond Englemann spruce top, Beautiful East Indian Rosewood back and sides, rosewood body binding, ebony fretboard binding, abalone rosette, and micro-dot inlays.
This guitar is in very good condition, with only two small imperfections which are visible in the photographs.  There is a small ding on the face of the guitar and one small mark on the bottom of the side where it rests on your leg while playing.  Both are small and do not affect the stability or tone of the instrument at all.  It is a fantastic guitar, and you will immediately recognize the difference between an all hand-made guitar and a factory made guitar.  John's guitars always blow me away with their clarity, tone, and sustain.  It takes approximately 6 to 9 months to get a Northwood made, and he only builds about 50 a year.  These are truly all hand made, and they are very affordable!  Why buy a factory, machine made guitar when you can get a superb all hand-made one for around the same price?

Pre-Owned Northwood Custom OO-80R 12 Fret!  1 13/16" Nut Width, Waverly Open Back Tuners!  $3795.00, $2199 Actual Sale Price!
The Northwood OO is a fantastically responsive guitar.  It is very robust, has a full, rich tone that will surprise you with its' power.  The Northwood OO is the most powerful sounding OO I have every played.  Everyone who tries one is surprised how it sounds like a much larger guitar.  This OO features a superb Englemann top that is incredibly beautiful, and has a tone that matches its' good looks.  The East Indian Rosewood is among the nicest I have seen.  The 12 fret configuration makes this a very compact instrument that is very comfortable to play, and the tone is very rich and clear.  I am a huge Northwood fan, and this guitar will make you one too.  The finish on all Northwood guitars is very light, and that enables the guitar to vibrate more readily than the harder, thicker finish found on a lot of other guitars.  This OO is something special, with the quality and playability only a completely hand-made guitar can offer.  This OO is in almost dead-mint condition.  The only thing that keeps it from being "as-new" is a faint mark on the back that is too light to photograph.  It would probably buff out, it is very faint and small.

Northwood OM-75 Rosewood and Englemann OM!                                                                    $3495.00  SALE PRICE - $2649!
The Northwood OM is a superb fingerstyle instrument.  It is robust, rich, and has more power than a factory made OM.  This is a guitar that begs to be played.  The Northwood OM is a special instrument.  It features a beautiful, blond Englemann spruce top, very high grade East Indian Rosewood back and sides, rosewood body binding, abalone rosette, microdot fretboard inlays, and abalone headstock logo.  It has been 6 months in the making, and it was well worth the wait.  I can't keep Northwood Guitars in the shop, so don't delay!

Northwood Custom MJ-75M! 1 3/4" Nut Width, Englemann Top, Mahogany Back & Sides      $3395.00 SALE PRICE - $2549!
The Northwood MJ is a lap piano.  It is a mini-jumbo, and has power and resonance that is unmatched.  The MJ is very surprising, however.  It is loud, it is room filling, and it puts that rumble in your belly when you play it.  But it is also a superb fingerstyle guitar, with great balance and a fast response.  I don't know how John Mcquarrie is able to make a guitar that can operate at both ends of the spectrum, but this is a guitar that does it all.  It is very responsive to a light touch, very balanced, but if you increase your attack it just pumps up the volume.  This guitar doesn't overdrive, it just keeps pushing and pushing.  I can't recommend the MJ enough.  If you want a guitar that is equally at home playing loud rhythm, aggressive flatpicking, and more delicate fingerstyle, then you need the Northwood MJ.  This is the same type of guitar that James Taylor is playing in the above photo.  In the last two years I have never had an MJ to hang on the wall in the store.  Every one has been sold before it arrived.  This is a rare chance to get one without the normal 8 to 10 month wait.  Don't hesitate, as this guitar is likely to be gone in short order.

Northwood OM-80 Rosewood                                                                                               $2699.00
The Northwood OM is a fingerstylist's dream.  It is supremely balanced, very robust, and has a full, rich tone that will leave your ears begging for more!  It is very light, super responsive, and gorgeous to look at.  The Englemann top is incredibly beautiful, and lends a strong, vibrant tone to this amazing instrument.  The finish on all Northwood guitars is very light, and that enables the guitar to vibrate more readily than the harder, thicker finish found on a lot of other guitars.  This OM is spectacular, with the quality and playability only a completely hand-made guitar can offer.
